A large-scale original work composed in brass and set against a deep velvet ground, housed within a custom wooden frame handcrafted by a local artisan.
At its center, the sun and crescent moon emerge in relief, encircled by the twelve zodiac forms in a balanced, radial composition. Each element is individually shaped and placed by hand, forming a quiet constellation of symbols, structure, and light.
Drawing from celestial diagrams, mythic imagery, and historical ornament, the work translates these influences into a material language. The brass surface responds to its surroundings, reflecting light throughout the day and giving the piece a subtle sense of movement and presence.
Conceived as a complete composition, the work exists as a singular piece.
