The Wheel of the Year is a depiction of the eight Pagan Holidays or Wiccan Sabbats. These celebrations are meant to honour and commemorate the seasons and cycles of life. The Sabbats signify the beginning of each season and the halfway points between them. They are equally distributed throughout the year. The calendar contains symbols and dates for each season, as well as the zodiac signs and their respective celebratory dates.
