COCORRINA

Inspired by old libraries, forgotten treasures,
and the art of making things that last.

Our Story

Cocorrina was founded by husband-and-wife team Corina Nika and Theo Dadamis in 2012. What began as a small creative blog on the Greek island of Kefalonia has grown into an internationally recognised studio creating heirloom books, journals, jewelry, brass artwork, and collectible curiosities for customers around the world.

Our Founders

Corina a self taught designer, artist, and author, and Theo, a former IT professional turned maker and builder, they started Cocorrina from their home in Kefalonia with little more than imagination, and persistence.

Since 2012

14 Years of Heirloom Curiosities

Cocorrina began in 2012 as a design blog and creative refuge during a difficult chapter in Corina’s life. Following a major surgery that left her bedridden for months, she turned to design, writing, and creating as a way to rebuild and reconnect with herself.

What started as a personal project soon evolved into a branding and design studio led by Corina, creating work for clients including Elie Saab, Nicole Scherzinger, Zara, Virgin Music, and other international brands.

In 2017, after the birth of their son, Corina and Theo felt drawn toward creating something more tangible and lasting. They began designing black and gold foil art prints from their home in Kefalonia, inspired by antique books, old libraries, and treasured objects of the past.

Those first prints became the foundation of what Cocorrina is today: an independent studio creating heirloom books, journals, tarot decks, jewelry, brass artwork, and collectible curiosities for kindred spirits around the world.

A note from our Co-Founder

From the beginning, I was drawn to old books, forgotten objects, antique collections, and the feeling of discovering something with a story behind it. The kind of piece you might find tucked away in a library, displayed in a cabinet of curiosities, or passed down through generations.

That idea became Cocorrina.

Every collection begins with an illustration, a story, a material, or a detail I can’t stop thinking about. Together with Theo, we transform those ideas into small-batch heirloom objects designed to be collected, cherished, and kept for years.

In a world of fast trends and mass production, we choose to create slowly, thoughtfully, and with intention.

Our Brand

We create books, journals, jewelry, artwork, and collectible objects that blend original design, historical inspiration, and thoughtful craftsmanship. Whether drawing from antique illustrations, forgotten folklore, Victorian books, or centuries-old decorative arts, our goal is not simply to recreate the past, but to reimagine it for a new generation of collectors.

Original artistry image

Original Artistry

Much of our work begins with original artwork created in our studio, often combined with carefully restored elements from antique books, historical illustrations, and archival materials. We love bringing together the old and the new, weaving forgotten details, stories, and inspiration into something entirely original.

Innovation in Craft

We are constantly exploring new ways to create objects that feel unique and unexpected. From custom book shapes and specialty bindings to intricate foiling techniques, handcrafted brass artwork, and unconventional production methods, we enjoy pushing beyond what is commonly found in the market and bringing new ideas to life.

Stories image

Preserving Stories

At the heart of Cocorrina is a desire to preserve beauty that might otherwise be forgotten. Many of the stories, symbols, illustrations, traditions, and crafts that inspire us come from another era. Through our books, artwork, and collections, we hope to give these treasures a new life and ensure they continue to inspire future generations.

Our World

The world of Cocorrina is inspired by antique books, botanical illustrations, folklore, Victorian design, Mediterranean life, old libraries, natural history collections, and the quiet beauty of things made to last.

These influences appear throughout our collections, creating a distinctive aesthetic that feels timeless rather than trend-driven.

We are endlessly inspired by the stories, objects, and craftsmanship of the past, and seek to reinterpret them for modern collectors.

Our Future

We believe the world needs fewer disposable things and more heirlooms.

We want to create objects that feel meaningful, lasting, and worthy of keeping. Pieces that become part of someone’s personal story. Things that age beautifully, gather memories, and feel just as special years from now as they did on the day they arrived.

That is what we continue to create.
