HOW ABOUT A FACELIFT?

Oh boy, oh boy! Here i am once again, not being able to sleep and seeing colours and shapes every time i close my eyes.  I know i just got a small facelift on my blog and but i'm ready to move on.

The current logo, was  designed after changing my mind like thousands (probably more) times. It felt right from the very beginning, but now after 3 years i've changed so much and it's definitely time for a facelift. Probably not at the moment, since i've got loads of client and personal projects but definitely in the very near feature.

THE VISION
When it comes to colours - i'm always obsessed with the combination of strong and soft, highlighting the fact that i'm a chameleon. So i'm torn apart between 3 colour combos. With a peach / salmonish shade and black still being primary, and combined to a secondary pistachio / blue - purple / natural tones.

Freehand watercolour for sure the primary logo. I can't even start describing how obsessed i am with it. But there will also be, a simpler version, playing with lines. I had never realised how difficult cocorrina is to write until yesterday when i was doodling it. Oh  man, i'm going to get my hand hurt, but for sure, can't wait to start this new chapter. Somehow, 2014, feels such a great year for new beginnings, doesn't it?

Facelifts are so much fun! I'm afraid my blog layout and icons change a bit too much, but I do love to switch things up ;)

I say go for it! I get tired of my blog design every few months and usually give it an update. I always feel refreshed and excited to continue blogging afterward!

This is very exciting, Corina! Your mood board is stunning so I cannot wait to see what unfolds for this beautiful space in the future :) P.S. Colours and shapes often keep me up at night too xo

Why do we always feel like designing a new logo and site/blog when we have a big client list on the waiting? :)
Anyway, I'm excited to see the upcoming changes, as your designs are always awesome!

Corina, this moodboard is SO stunning! You have me super excited over here. I know whatever you create will be simply amazing.

I know what you mean though! My mind is the exact same way. I am actually shocked I have stuck with the same blog layout for over a year now, back in the day... it would change every 3 months! :o

Mood boards are so fun to create and it's so fun to have space to dream and envision what you want to do before finally actually introducing it to the space you have been planning it for. I really like the direction you're headed and am looking forward to seeing the final result - whenever that might be!

Ugh, I feel the same way about my blog, and portfolio site. I'm always my own toughest client. I think your blog is lovely, but I'm excited to see what else you do with it!

Haha, I know how you feel! I have the same thing with my blog/branding, it's like this thing never ever feels finished. I love your moodboard, i'm getting your vibe! Looking forward to see the outcome :)

I am very much the same! Everytime I design a new template I come up with a new iconish logo. I can't even call that a logo since it changes all the time. And I am currently going through the phase of brainstorming a new design and color palettes. But this moodboard is so pretty! Love the combination of peachy salmon tones + blue / grey / black.

Freehand water color logo probably suits you a lot as it seems to be your specialty! Can't wait to see the new identity!

Looking interesting! I'm quite fond of the last colour combo, although they're all gogeous and I'm sure you'll make them all absolutely work magic!
