CHRISTMAS FAVORITES

I have a bad habit and it's the fact that i always get my inspirations too late. Never had the time to do it, ON time! Now, all the Christmas decorations are up, but at least i know what i want for next year, because i know that next year i won't have the time either!

There's nothing more beautiful to the eye than simplicity and natural colors. I always loved the combination of craft paper, some green and some black. It doesn't get better than this! I'm even so inspired i might even use this as inspiration to wrap my shop packages!

Each year, in my whole life, since i was a kid and lived with my parents till today i am a married woman, our Christmas tree was a traditional one. Yes, with lots of toys, red and gold ornaments, huge and completely full! I'm not complaining, my husband and i love the traditional Christmas decorations but for once, i'd love to try something more simple. Stay to wooden, beige and white simple decorations. Maybe next year (hubby already approved!)

And with less decoration, i'd love a smaller but natural tree in a pot! We have a huge one, which is, trust me, huge! But it's fake. I long for the day we have a natural one, i missed the smell of that Christmas tree waking up in the morning with a hot chocolate.

Tried them this year too, you might remember from this post and sprayed them white, but with some random life events (moving out again) i wasn't in the mood to do anything more with them than just place them on the table. I liked these, that are still so natural as a garland. I'll definitely try them next year.

But if you're trying it this year, let me share a little tip i found out: When we gathered the pine cones, my husband had the brilliant idea to wash them. So after a couple of hours we found them all closed! They somehow do that yeah. I believe that you should wash them, because that way you'll take away all the dust but after, just put them in the oven! Just like you would do with the chicken. In a high temperature and wrap them in a foil if you want to. Just remember to leave some space between them because they'll open up a lot!

Golden is till my favorite. Gold and sparkles! Yes, i should make a note to myself that next year, i should get out and found me some of these lovely golden decorations. The glass element on this ones, is my favorite actually!

I made some yarn pom poms for my wedding this year. You can see the DIY here, but with moving in to a new house and now trying to move out again, i couldn't keep my mind in my head and think of doing this so amazing idea! Pom pom wreath! It looks like little snow flakes doesn't it? Welcome to my next year list!

Find all images, and their links on my Christmas Board on Pinterest.

It was a great few months with my shop, i couldn't even imagine all the support i had and that it would be such a success! I decided to close my shop in a few days for vacation. Yes to rest, and because all of my items are out of stock. Will be coming back with some great new and old items! SHOP NOW!
